Other comments or recommendations

1. Not enough refreshments available when you want them. First day was "Freezing", day 2,3 was good temperature.
2. Mainly lecture-type sessions are BORING! Publishers Etc.
3. Saturday(school should use only weekday. Mon.-Fri. for school related activities).
All workshops should be presented to the people setting up the conference so that all workshops are good & appropriate.
4. Too cold, Student Envolvement was not useful for teaching in Thailand.
5. Student Envolvement - Did not really go over practical class room material, but showed how their material encouraged student involvement. Felt like a sales pitch for their books.
6. No morning coffee. Coming on a Saturday, "Student engagement" just an excuse to sell their product.
7. Petchchompo Room caters to 2 workshops which is quite annoying because we can hear the speaker from behind and the audio tape they're using it was quite, disturbing.
8. Slow start, not on time, to early

10. Publisher’s workshop was a complete waste of my time. Sorry I didn't have time for Mr.Michael's workshop.
11. Some speakers were not well prepared enough.
12. Some workshops felt more like a Lecture than a group orientated activity.
13. In the certificate, the place where the seminar was held is not mentioned.
14. Registration, facilitation, facilities
15. Some rooms don't give hand out to the audiences.
16. Some of the workshops are not interesting in the term of presentation because the speaker make it as a one - way communication.
17. Training on classroom activities.
18. I would love to see that the facilitators stick to the topic of the session. Rather than spending most of the time going over 1 feature and went out of the track : (Practical Activities)
19. Lack of interaction in some of the presentations.
20. I thought the “practical activities in the classroom” was a waste of time. Not well thought out or prepared, boring and presented by somebody who was not experienced. There was no mention of practical classroom activities other than some games to play at a summer camp or TEFL games which do not involve English "NOT IMPRESSED"
21. I did not like the student engagement. I did get a little information.

23. Lack of true vegetarian food
24. Workshops on student engagement :
- It did not meet my expectation
- The speaker was not engaging himself.
- The presentation slides were ineffective.

26. Inform about the level (age group) of the presentation.
27. Some topics are not interesting and well presented. Such as action research & I didn't learn much from classroom management except inspiration.
28. Some workshops rooms.
29. Action research : Just seem like she was not well prepared. So boring! It better if she lets us to do our workshop by ourselves not just only sit and listening. It's terrible us so much!
30. The Practical Activities workshop was disappointing(boring, uninformative, and focused mainly on problems between Thai & Foreign staff).

32. Action research workshop, reading workshop.
33. About the "The Student Engagement session.
34. Some of the workshops were very poor.
35. Some seminars were not students centred. Some Thai learners could not follow some of the speaker.
36. Some activities that learners have no time to join the activity.
37. Action Research is very boring.

39. The time is too short to do some workshop.
40. There were some topics discussed that I find not important and some speaker were very boring.
41. Saturday schedule is too long for out of area teachers.
42. Seating for lunch was too squashed-up.
43. Very detailed and specific seminar, especially related to the Australian curriculum because this information is not essentially useful in my perspectives.
44. Rooms are hard to find. That's not a problem.
45. The speakers were well prepared but I don't like the way they present the topics - majority of them were boring
46. Negativity about Thailand from Van Loggerenberg - too aggressive (not presented well); publishers from Australia telling about their products
47. In some workshop there is no space between each chair
48. The parking area is not comfortable, not enough space
49. We had to listen a lot, less time for activities or discussions
